Matt Yanni

Matt founded YAIA in January, 2007. Prior to starting the Firm, he was employed as an Investment Advisor with PNC’s Wealth Management Group where he managed high-net worth personal clients. He also spent time in PNC’s Investment Research and Investment Strategy Groups.

From an educational standpoint, Matt has a B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. He has passed both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Analyst Exams (CFA®). Matt is also certified to sell life and long-term care insurances, but does so as an Individual and not through YAIA. Matt has been quoted several times by various newspapers and is also a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Compliance Roundtable.

At YAIA, Matt is responsible for managing the client’s overall relationship management. The Firm’s staff do assist him with many of the underlying critical functions, but he has maintained the direct point of contact for all relationships at YAIA.

Matt and his wife, Tara, live in Gibsonia, PA. They have three children: Katie, Ella, and Jacob. In his spare time, Matt primarily spends it supporting his children’s activities. Matt also serves as the head coach for his son’s Pine Richland travel soccer team.
